Acting from an abundance of caution, we have postponed tonight's MRH Middle School promotion ceremony and dance, and rescheduled it for tomorrow evening, Wednesday, May 22. The National Weather Service has already placed most of eastern Missouri under a tornado watch. We are expecting potentially damaging wind gusts and very heavy rainfall throughout the evening. We realize that this postponement might pose an inconvenience to many families across the district, but we must adhere to our pledge to keep our students and staff as safe as possible. Again, the Middle School promotion ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 22, at 6 p.m.... in the district theatre on the MS/HS campus... followed by the dance afterward in the cafeteria.
(Students should report to the fourth floor no later than 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. All doors to the theatre will open at 5:30, and we ask that seating be first come, first served. We do request that seats not be reserved for guests who have not yet arrived. Thank you.)
