"Freedom Songs" comes to MRH on Feb. 6.The entire community is invited to join us next week for a very special Black History Month presentation by the Black Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.

"Freedom Songs" will take place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 6, in the district theatre at 7539 Manchester Road. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.

What is a freedom song? Many think it's a spiritual, but it could be hip hop, R & B, or even rock and roll, too. Freedom Songs can be catalysts for change, as evidenced by the civil rights and women's liberation movements.

Tickets can be purchased on-line for $3 per person or $10 for a family pack of 4.

The MRH "Weekend on Wheels" food pantry encourages you to bring canned goods to help support local families in need.

"Freedom Songs" is a collaborative presentation by MRH Middle School and WE Schools.

For more information, contact MRH School District at (314) 644-4400.
