On November 4, 2014, Westminster Christian Academy donated a school bus load full of canned/box pantry food items to Maplewood Richmond Heights Weekend on Wheels Program (WOW) for the second year in a row. WOW is a district-wide program that is comprised of an in-house food pantry. Through the pantry, students pack boxes every weekend full of nutritious food for those families in the district that are in need or families of students who qualify for free and reduced lunch.
In order to continue this weekly program, the WOW Steering Committee works to develop ways to continue to collect food to feed these families and would like to thank Westminster for their donation.
