The St. Louis County Board of Elections and St. Louis County Library announced semifinalists in the “I Voted” sticker contest, and an MRH 6th grader makes the cut. Amiyah Arend and eight other semifinalists will move on to the final round of voting that is open to the public on Friday, November 5th (her illustration appears at right).

Mariam Rana, Parkway South Middle School
Emary Khazen, Christ, Prince of Peace School
9th-12th grade:
Matthew Myers, Eureka High School
Madison Pitzer, Lafayette High School
ara Wang, Pattonville High School
18 and older:
Kathryn Owens, Brentwood
Katherine Vogel, Manchester
James Werner, Valley Park
“We are impressed by the enthusiastic response and variety that we received from artists throughout the county! The St. Louis County Library helped us to engage with communities that we may not have been able to reach otherwise. It will be exciting to see which artwork the public chooses for our new “I Voted” stickers,” said Rick Stream and Eric Fey, Directors of the Board of Elections.
On November 5th, voting will open to the public to choose the winning design in each category. Votes may be cast at https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/66f688bb1450470bb43ea3e2b4e5c039 and the three finalists will be announced on November 15th. Prizes will be awarded to the semi-finalists and the winners will be specially recognized. The final artwork will be professionally printed into the “I Voted” stickers and distributed to all polling places throughout the county beginning in 2022.
