Each year, during Black History Month, MRH hosts its “Soul Food Supper”. The 2016 event is set for Tuesday, February 23 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m.. in the Middle/High School Cafeteria. During this event student and staff volunteers cook and serve traditional style soul food to the MRH community.
A menu of fried chicken, black-eyed peas, collard greens, mashed potatoes, candied yams, corn bread, macaroni and cheese, ham and beans, sweet potato pie and more, will be served.
Entertainment will be provided by the MRH High School Jazz Combo.
Tickets (available at the door):
- $5 for adults
- $3 for children 5-12 years
- Free for children under 5
